Aspen Ladd began her journey to combat sports at young age of fourteen. After a kickboxing training session, wrestling BJJ and BJJ she made her amateur debut against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was just 18. Ladd felt more confident following her win, and she won three fights at Ultimate Reno Combat. Her adversaries were defeated all in the 1st round. After that, she went to WCFC again and beat Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen initially defeated Silvia Babyghian before going on to take on Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9 and fought Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen to beat her a unanimous decision, putting an ominous mark on her records for amateur. Ladd won her next fight in a fight with Roma Pawelek to improve to a record of 8-1. Aspen was signed to Invicta FC in 2015 to begin her career in professional boxing. Invicta Aspen fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011 and won via the first round TKO. Ladd defeated Evinger during the first round and got a performance of the night bonus. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee She fought Sijara Eubanks in her debut fight. Ladd took home the unanimous decision after an intense back and forth battle with the fighters received the Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie took 16 seconds to end Ladd and her winning streak. She came back to finish Yana Kunitskaya after the third round in UFC at ESPN 7. In her recent fight for the UFC she fought Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 in a rematch fight. It was a loss by majority decision.
